A smarter way
to train.

Many fitness programs focus only on intensity or short-term results. At StableBody, we take a different approach. Our training focuses on developing strength, movement quality, and physical balance so your body becomes more capable and resilient over time. This philosophy helps clients move better, reduce injury risk, and build the strength they can rely on in everyday life.

StableBody trainer Scott Stanger with a client

Meet Scott.

Scott founded StableBody with a simple goal: to help people build a body that moves well, feels strong, and remains capable over time.

Over the course of his career, Scott has worked with hundreds of clients, focusing not just on exercise but on helping people understand how their bodies move. His coaching emphasizes movement quality, strength development, and long-term physical health so clients can train safely and continue improving for years to come.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Western University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Science from Sheridan College. He is also a Registered Massage Therapist and completed a Master’s degree in Exercise Science through Edith Cowan University.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as the certified athletic therapist and strength and conditioning coach for Cricket Canada, travelling internationally with the men’s national team.

When he’s not coaching, Scott is usually doing something active, reading, or learning the guitar.

Our Approach

Our approach is built on a simple idea: move well first, then build strength.

Before adding intensity or load, we focus on developing control and balance so your body works as it should. This creates a foundation for strength that is not only effective, but sustainable.

Control

Control is the foundation of movement. Before adding load or intensity, we develop the ability to stabilize joints, control posture, and move with precision. This creates safer, more effective training and builds the foundation for long-term strength.

Balance

Balance goes beyond standing on one foot. It means developing coordination between muscles, improving stability, and ensuring the body works as an integrated system. Balanced movement improves performance and helps prevent injury.

Strength

Strength is the outcome of consistent, intelligent training. By building strength through proper movement patterns and progressive resistance, clients develop a body that is capable, durable, and prepared for the demands of everyday life.
